COMMUNITY IS STRONGER THAN CANCER

Durango Police Department conducts fundariser for
CSC-SWC with Pink Patch Project

We are happy to announce that the Durango Police Department is participating in the Pink Patch Program, and they have chosen Cancer Support Community Southwest Colorado as their beneficiary! The Pink Patch Project has the simple goal of increasing awareness about the life-saving benefits of early detection and early intervention in the fight against breast cancer. The pink patches are intended to stimulate conversation with the community. Durango police officers will wear these patches on their uniforms for the month of October.

Money raised from this local fundraiser will be donated to CSC-SWC, and will help us provide much-needed services. Patches are available for $10 each and can be purchased in-person in the Durango Police Station lobby, or for $11 by emailing nick.stasi@durangogov.org. Our thanks to our local officers for standing with us as we support people in Southwest Colorado experiencing a cancer journey.

Since 2014, first as Blueprints of Hope and now as the CSC Southwest Colorado, we have served as a cancer support organization working to improve the quality of life for individuals facing cancer in Southwest Colorado. All services are offered at no cost for anyone, at any age, facing any type or stage of cancer, and are for the entire family.

Our mission is to uplift and strengthen people impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care.

Our vision is that everyone impacted by cancer receives the support they want and need throughout their experience.
