Our community calendar is an opportunity for patients, survivors, friends, family, and providers to identify programs, classes and special events being offered in Southwest Colorado. Event details may change, so please contact program sponsors for the most up-to-date information before attending.
This is a program dedicated to providing anyone who had experienced any phase of a cancer diagnosis with affordable, supportive, shared exercise. The program provides personal trainers who have special training to work with cancer survivors and to oversee all aspects of a personalized exercise regimen. Each regimen is designed to aid in recovery and general fitness.
Qigong for Health. Classes are free for Blueprints of Hope community (cancer patients, survivors and caregivers). Classes from 5:30-6:30 pm. Learn and experience how Qigong can help you to strengthen immunity, reduce pain, manage stress, and enhance vitality. Class will include discussion and practice of: Gentle Movement, Breathing Exercises, Meditation, and Self Applied Massage. Class can be done standing or seated.

This yoga class for healing is adapted to individual needs, in a group atmosphere and promotes well-being on all levels. Cost is $15 per class or five classes for $60 for a 5 class punch card. Blueprints of Hope offers these classes free of charge to cancer patients and survivors who are up to two years out from treatment.
